1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using seal.co.ke (the “Platform”), owned and operated by Sign Education Africa Limited (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, you must not use the Platform.
2. Services Provided
The Platform provides access to educational materials, courses, and assessments, including the Kenya Sign Language (KSL) curriculum, utilizing the Tutor LMS plugin on a WordPress environment.
3. User Accounts and Registration
Eligibility: To enroll in courses, you must register for an account and be at least [Minimum Age, e.g., 18] years old, or possess parental/guardian consent if a minor.
Account Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
Course Content Ownership: All content on the Platform, including but not limited to KSL videos, course materials, text, graphics, logos, and code, is the property of Sign Education Africa Limited or its content providers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
License to User: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
Prohibited Actions: You agree not to reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works of, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or use any content unless explicitly permitted in writing by Us.
Student Submissions: By submitting video responses, essays, or other content (“Submissions”), you grant Us a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, display, and review the Submissions solely for the purpose of grading, feedback, and necessary platform operation. We will not share your personal Submissions publicly without your explicit, written consent.
5. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation
Fees: Access to courses may require payment of fees. All fees are quoted in [Currency, e.g., KES] and are subject to change.
Payment Gateway: Payments are processed through [Mention your payment gateway, e.g., M-Pesa or PayPal]. We are not responsible for errors or security breaches related to the payment processor.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Platform or the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the content. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sign Education Africa Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your access to, use of, or inability to use the Platform or any content provided therein.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these T&Cs shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Nairobi, Kenya.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these T&Cs at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated T&Cs on the Platform or by sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new T&Cs.
