Boniface Muriithi is a highly experienced Sign Language Consultant with over 20 years of expertise in Deaf empowerment, accessibility, and inclusive communication. He is a specialist in Kenyan Sign Language (KSL), American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, Deaf culture, and disability inclusion strategies.

He is a certified sign language instructor, trained through the Kenya Sign Language Research Project at the University of Nairobi under the late Professor Okoth Okombo, and further trained in the USA with United World Mission in Deaf culture and leadership development. He also conducted research on Deaf culture and sign language at Gallaudet University, Washington DC.

Boniface has worked extensively across East, Central, and Southern Africa with DOOR International, where he served in leadership roles and contributed to Bible translation into sign languages. He previously served as Director for Africa for nine years, supporting Deaf empowerment and inclusive communication initiatives.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Deaf Institute of Communication and Sign Language Training (DICSLT) and a Managing Director at Sign Education Africa Limited (SEAL). SEAL brings together partners to deliver sign language training, broadcast communication support, and disability inclusion services that bridge the gap between Deaf and hearing communities.

Boniface continues to support government, media, and private organisations in advancing accessibility, inclusion, and equal communication for all.
